Research Experience:
Au Yong Cheong Peng is
a senior lecturer in Department
of Building Surveying, Faculty of
Built Environment, University of
Malaya. He holds a PhD degree in Facilities Management from the Faculty of
Built Environment, University of Malaya. His research interest is in facilities
management and building maintenance. He has published several articles in
reputable journals. For instance, his recent publications include “Optimal
inspection frequency to mitigate the risk of building system failure”
in Structural
Engineering and Mechanics; “Participative
mechanisms to improve office maintenance performance and customers'
Satisfaction” in Journal
of Performance of Constructed Facilities; “Maintenance
interval towards different facilities and services in high-rise housing”
in Journal of Design
and Built Environment; “Influences
of key stakeholders’ involvement in maintenance management” in Property
Management; “Competency
and commitment of facilities managers: keys to safeguard maintenance performance”
in Malaysian
Construction Research Journal; and “Enhancing

in Journal
